The overarching objective of this function is to ensure that end-users have the information and systems to do their jobs at all locations where business is being done. The management of most of the end-user IT services, business solutions and the underlying technology infrastructure is centralized with ITS. ITS is structured in a federated operating model with a number of solutions developed and maintained for the entire organization (Shared Services) on one hand and, on the other hand, separate departments dedicated to addressing the needs of four Business Solution Centers. Each Business Solution Center is led by a CIO who works closely with a governance group to align the systems investment portfolio with business priorities. Shared services of underlying infrastructure and applications platforms are provided by the Enterprise Architecture unit and the Technology Engineering and Infrastructure department. The unit manages information delivery, process automation, data collection, external website and knowledge management applications that support a large number of critical business processes supporting Operations including investment lending preparation, supervision and completion, development policy lending, knowledge services, research, recipient executed trust funds, global partnerships, operational procurement And financial management, safeguards, data collection/dissemination and disclosure. Solutions also encompass task team productivity and management reporting. The unit leverages an enterprise-grade application platform that integrates standards-based technologies such as IBM Portal, IBM Websphere, SAP, Documentum, Microsoft .Net, SQL Server, SharePoint, Tableau, Cordys BPMS, Adobe Flex, and Adobe LiveCycle to deliver composite applications. *Duties and Accountabilities: * Over the past few years, the communications function at the group has been integrated throughout the organization. Building on a reputation for high-quality publications, today we use the full range of communication tools encompassing new media (blogs, multimedia, social networking) to maximize the impact of our work with financial institutions, other market actors, policy makers and funders. The position requires a highly motivated and versatile candidate with strong development skills to support the development activities. *Duties and Accountabilities: * Provide technical support and troubleshoot for technical issues/bugs encountered in CGAPs Drupal sites. (CGAP.org, GPFI.org, MicrofinanceGateway.org, workspace.cgap.org) Develop, maintain, customize/modify, and configure the Drupal modules Provide front end development for interactive features Ensure CGAP sites comply with the World Bank OIS, WPO and other standards Modify the sites themes and maintain it Create and maintain Drupal views and content types Work with the Communications team and assist in defining requirements for new initiatives such as usability audit recommendations Stay up to date with Drupal core and module improvements, and security patches and updates to comply with OIS accreditations Validate Drupal upgrades in Virtual Host, DEV, and QA environments and provide recommendations for upgrades Assist the team in developing and deploying other sites in a multi-site configuration Prioritize tasks and interact well within a team environment Solve problems quickly and follow protocols and resolution procedures Documenting current and future configuration processes and policies Assist in debugging issues with hosting applications, cloud resources and Content Delivery Network (CDN) Participate in 24x7 on-call support if needed Identify opportunities for process improvement, planning, and implementing changes *Specific Requirements:* Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar and a minimum 2 years of relevant experience or Bachelors degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience At least 3 years of proven experience in PHP coding, and Drupal development including implementation and administration on web based environments At least 3 years of experience on database: MySQL, MS Access At least 3 years of experience on CMS: Drupal 7 or 8 At least 3 years of experience on Software Languages: PHP, AJAX, HTML 5, Javascript, Java, XML, KML.
