| Duties & Responsibilites : | Responsibilities of the Android Developer:
· The Android Developer will work on a proof-of-concept web application
· You will collaborate with project stakeholders and business analysts to identify product and technical requirements
· The Android Developer will plan, design and build new advanced Android software and web applications
· Analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications
· Document and report all development activity
· Work with QA to ensure specification and technical requirements are effective and meet requirements
· Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
· Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and reliability
· Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Qualifications of the Android Developer:
· Looking for people who are passionate about mobile development!
· You will be in a fast-paced paced environment, so you need to be self-sufficient and able to use your expertise and judgment. Ability to determine own work priorities
· Bachelors’ Degree in Math, Computer Science or Engineering
· 5+ years Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Objective-C, or C++
· 2+ years of Android development experience
· Experience with web technologies such as HMTL, CSS and _javascript_
· Experience with Web APIs to integrate mobile applications to server side systems
· Solid source code control understanding (Subversion, Eclipse)
· Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
· Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, source control and peer code-reviews
