-client are responsible for: a) technology strategy, direction, and usage, b) solution architecture for strategic initiatives, c) infrastructure architecture to support business application portfolios, and d) technology investment planning.
-This position is expected to create project level solutions that leverage existing Infrastructure Architecture Blueprints and Roadmaps.
-This position will contribute to client's IT architecture foundation by maintaining principles, best practices, guidelines, and standards as needed. Finally, this position will engage with Enterprise Architecture processes as part of the architecture realization for multi-year, multi-project business initiatives.
-This is a highly collaborative position where the person will need to identify and partner with key thought leaders across the organization to deliver a cohesive enterprise strategy that is actionable by client's delivery teams.
-The ideal candidate will have experience in the PBM  Healthcare industry, have expert knowledge of multiple technology platforms in the information and applications space, have strong experience in the architecture discipline, and has demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across an organization.
-Provide project level analysis, design, technology selection, risk assessment, review, and governance services to ensure alignment with client's enterprise architecture requirements
-Effectively collaborate with stakeholders (business sponsors, IT leadership, IT Service Owners, ISD Lead Engineers) to develop technical solutions
-Develop infrastructure solutions including all perspectives (business impact, cost benefit analysis, technology component impact). Present and defend those solutions through the various architecture governance processes.
-Provide direct solution review and guidance within a domain or service to influence the continuing advancement of domain capabilities using roadmaps, project dependencies and implementation patterns to drive a consistent view of the domain.
-Inform business and IT leaders of opportunities and constraints presented by the organization's current and potential architecture and capabilities.
-Assume delegated ad hoc tasks from the Director of ISD ArchitectureMinimum Qualifications:
-5+ years overall IT experience with 3+ years direct experience working as an Application or Domain Architect developing new systems and/or maintaining complex systems.
-Minimum 3 years experience in design, development, and implementation of infrastructure solutions.
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
-Specialist knowledge of application, information, infrastructure, middleware, and security architectures
-Knowledgeable in infrastructure tools, and platforms; proficient in new and emerging technologies, particularly with distributed systems, voice and data networking, Enterprise content management and Messaging solutions including ESB, Web Services, and Event Based architectures
-Demonstrated experience leading teams as well as creating individual contributions/deliverables.
-Demonstrated experience presenting architecture concepts and goals to IT leaders and Individual ContributorsAdditional Qualifications:
-Strong analytical skills (macro and micro) and process orientation
-Strong self-management skills in multiple-priority, high ambiguity situations
-Ability to proactively communicate at multiple levels: executive to individual contributor
-Ability to communicate via words and pictures
-Comfortable with resolving conflicting viewpoints and achieving consensus
-Collaborative work-style
-Strong sense of personal accountability for results
-Healthcare industry experience including PBM preferred
