-Understands and architects the information model, flow and related disciplines for the enterprise.
-The role is expected to understand the business need in terms of data – how it is represented (structurally and in unstructured form), how it is generated and consumed, how it should flow and how it should be maintained so that quality, security and accessibility to the data is preserved.
-The role demands leadership in terms of guidance to development staff and alignment with enterprise architecture strategy, collaboration with other team members, good modeling and documentation skills and awareness of industry trends in terms of data and information architecture.
Experience and background:
-Minimum 7+ years of data modeling experience in medium to large team settings is required.
-Experience with a fast paced development team and working with an outsourced model is a plus.
-Working knowledge in relational databases specifically Oracle and Sybase is a must.
-Good communication skills, mentorship and working ability to in a team environment is required.
- Working knowledge in data warehousing and business intelligence along with master meta-data management is a plus.
