Duties & Responsibilites :	-Senior Mainframe lead developer who will report to the SSA's Division of Validation Testing and Technology (DVTT) and will be responsible for the planning, analysis, development, testing, problem resolution, and implementation of production processes in support of the addition of new validation groups and file systems for DVTT. -Candidate will work independently on high-profile projects with the potential to lead several senior developers. -Extensive customer interaction and substantial written reporting due to the involvement of project meetings and code development activities involving multiple stakeholders. -Develop new code (e.g., JCL, REXX, CLIST, Control-M) as required. -The successful candidate should be well versed in IBM System Utilities with prior experience with Systems Development. Required: · Senoir REXX development skills · Proven senior-level technical and application development knowledge of IBM Mainframe applications with extensive programming experience using JCL, DB2, REXX, CLIST, COBOL, Control-M, Dialog Manager, File-AID, SQL, TSO/ISPF. · Proven experience with analysis, documentation, development, testing, and implementation. · Senior-level DB2 (SQL) programming experience to enable analysis of code written by others. · Excellent customer relations, and verbal and written skills. · Self-starter, highly motivated individual; team player who can adapt to changes in customer requirements. · Experience in IBM z/OS (OS/390/MVS) application development, production control, and job scheduling. · Experience developing and maintaining JCL and related entities for application software systems. · Experience in industry accepted SDLC practices.
