-The developer will join the AA Cargo IT team in implementing a services oriented architecture (SOA) running on the IBM Websphere middleware stack (Websphere Application Server (WAS), Websphere Enterprise Service Bus (WESB) and Websphere Process Server (WPS)).
-The platform will integrate data from legacy and external systems coming through Message Queue (MQ) and other formats and interface to Oracle databases as well as web service interfaces to other systems.
-Projects are implemented using an Agile methodology to incrementally deliver business value.
-Strong background in Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) development is required.
-Experience with enterprise integration design patterns, JPA, Websphere MQ, SQL, Agile, performance tuning, and web services technologies (WSDL/SOAP) are strongly desired.

-An eye for the larger picture and a proactive attitude towards solving problems is essential.
Education/Experience:
-Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required
-5-7 years related experience required
Skills:
-JEE back end development (JDBC, EJB2 & EJB3)
-Web services development (WSDL, SOAP, XML) a plus
-Data persistence (JPA preferred, Hibernate acceptable, SQL, Oracle)
-Messaging (JMS, MQ)
-Enterprise integration design patterns
-Agile methodology experience (Scrum, XP)
-Performance tuning experience
-Unit Testing experience (JUnit)
-Familiarity with Websphere Integration Developer, BPEL and SCA are a plus
