*Senior Front End Developer - Python* *Responsibilities:* Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering, the Senior Front End Developer will work closely with Software Engineering Management, Quality Engineering, and Product Management to develop reusable components and APIs, which other internal teams will use to create valuable web applications for internal and external audiences. Responsibilities will include: Develop product features based on existing technical specifications, business needs, and architectural strategy Ensure product quality by delivering defect free products and sharing technical knowledge on defect fixes Update and enhance existing software to improve performance, security, and reliability Write and maintain unit tests covering all features and use cases of the application Create technical documentation for all code developed Follow all team coding standards and development practices Work with other internal development teams to help integrate our technologies into their applications Work with our support team to provide resolution for L2 and L3 issues in our applications *Qualifications/Requirements:* 3 years of web development experience using Python Experience using nose or other Python test frameworks Experience using the Flask microframework is nice to have JavaScript experience is required, interactive web applications is a plus Experience with jQuery library Experience with MongoDB or other document / noSQL database is nice to have *Desired Characteristics:* Experience developing cross browser compatible HTML / HTML5 / CSS Experience developing object-oriented PHP applications Stays current on new techniques and technologies.
