| Duties & Responsibilites : | Client has been selected as the clients strategic partner responsible for providing full life-cycle application development, integration and support services. Client consists of resources deployed across Client’s development centers in the US and India as well as the clients locations across the US. The technologies, skill sets and team size vary by application but all groups are managed by Client’s leadership team. The entire team is responsible for ensuring architectural best practices are achieved. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Serve as the lead resource responsible for the overall design and development of applications and systems while providing leadership and direction to the development teams • Serve as the subject matter expert in all phases of design and development and mentor team members as needed • Define requirements and create architectural specifications. • Lead and coordinate development activities and be the anchor of technical expertise with onshore and offshore technical teams • Lead status meetings with the development and management teams • Communicate to the client and internal teams the architecture and/or solution of a particular project. • Manage the team’s progress against deliverables and milestones and revise them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. • Support the Software Engineers with coding when required with analysis, design, providing technical solutions, coding, testing, QA support, and implementation. • Implement engineering excellence by enforcing regular code reviews, continuous integration, high test code coverage, on-going code refactoring and adequate documentation while ensuring correct usage of industry standard software and frameworks • Must be a hands-on in development |
