| Duties & Responsibilites : | • Design and lead development of a state-of-the-art dashboard • Work with the Business as a UX SME and architect / define solutions and directions for the organization • Guide the dashboard development team to integrate UX improvements in a rapid manner • Collaborate with our product team to plan and implement thoughtful, creative solutions that are innovative, usable, and rich in function. • Gain & maintain a strong understanding of our business model to ensure that the product solves the correct usability problems, short-term and long-term. • Analyze all current-day interactions within the applications and identify opportunities to improve usability and effectiveness • Rapidly iterate on design prototypes and application integration • Concept, storyboard, wireframe and prototype user experiences on smartphones, tablets, desktops and wearables • Responsible for following UX / UI industry best practices and explaining them to the Business • Responsive UI design for a through web based applications, including media queries, break points, ability to customize CSS • CSS Preprocessing expertise (SASS/LESS) • Familiarity with SQL and data acquisition processes, ability to work closely directly interfacing with software development team in a multi-tool environment • Worked in an agile environment as part of scrum teams • Support the front end creation of UI/IX patterns and standards working with the design team • Ability to rapidly prototype clickable, _javascript_ enabled prototypes for purposes of testing with users prior to development implementation or client demos • Help team improve design opportunities by introducing and testing new or improved options with CSS3 and modern technologies • Liaise between UI/UX and development team to help align on technical issues, needs, expectations and dependencies • Interface with QA around UI implementation and testing process • Knowledge of web design principles, typography, color and page layouts, and a great eye for detail • Interpretation and implementation of client style and branding guidelines into HTML and CSS responsive browser based applications. 8+ years (minimum) of web software application front end implementation experience, with at least 5 in developing software in a large enterprise |
