Project Information: Responsible for the administration and maintenance of all Netezza and Oracle products
Skills:
· 6+ years of DBA experience
· 6+ years of Oracle experience
· 2+ years experience working with Netezza
· Ability to mult-task
Oracle DBA skills:
· Installation, configuration, maintenance and performance tuning of Oracle database.
· Demonstrated ability using database monitoring tools, including OEM, ADDM and AWR.
· Experienced with Data Pump, SQL Loader, RMAN, PL/SQL, and Unix shell scripting.
Netezza DBA skills:
· Must possess a solid background in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.
· Must have experience in large multi-terabyte DW environments.
· Excellent knowledge of Netezza Architecture and system internals.
· Experience analyzing query execution plans, optimize query performances, and tuning Netezza appliances.
