-This resource will primarily be involved in working with the Exchange Server - will write and modify scripts to synch with other systems.
-There is no development involved in this position.
-The Email and Scripting Technician will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and requires the ability to transition quickly between different platforms and applications throughout a working day.
-This is a new position that will be focused on cleaning up current scripts supporting a wide variety of functions handled by our email team.
Other tasks could include day-to-day support for email, webmail, vault and other products supported by the Email team. Further job requirements (in addition to the ones listed in the skills section ) are:
- Ability to complete assignments timely and submit weekly status reports indicating progress on assigned tasks, performance against assigned project due dates, and identification and suggested resolution for issues having a potential to adversely impact performance and/or the project.
- Shall maintain a positive working relationship with coworkers, supervisors and customers and present a positive team environment and customer focus.
- Shall adhere to OCIO work rules.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
-Strong knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS), and Windows Infrastructure Required 5 Years
-Exchange 2007 day-to-day management, configuration and maintenance experience Required 5 Years
-Extensive work writing, editing, maintaining and modifying complex scripts using a variety of scripting languages, including but not limited to Perl, Required 5 Years
Syncing data between Active Directory/LDAP and mainframe (payroll) systems Required 5 Years
-Experience in Synching data between Active Directory forests Required 5 Years
Scripts used for generating billing files based on usage Required 5 Years
-Experience with Perl, Powershell and Batch file scripting Required 5 Years
-Experience with Outlook and Exchange troubleshooting in a complex network environment w/ multiple firewalls Required

-Experience working in an Exchange Resource Forest model Required
