*BI Architect* *6 Months* *Downtown Portland* *POSITION PURPOSE *ETL / BI architect with expertise and experience in Informatica and ODI coupled with Oracle BI Applications. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded individual who is comfortable supporting all levels of the organization but can bring focus to leading the BI technical teams in all phases of the delivery process. The candidate must have material, proven and recent hands-on experience with both ETL (Informatica & ODI) and BI (Oracle BI Applications and OBIEE) tool sets and platforms; preferably working in large-scale, enterprise-wide BI projects. *ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * · Provide technical and process leadership for the technical team of ETL (Informatica & ODI) and BI (OBIEE) developers in all phases of the delivery process: requirements / scoping, prototyping / design, development, testing, release and support. · Partner with program and enterprise leadership in the development of project plans to implement data warehouse solution and identify resource requirements for the Agile-Scrum based execution of work. · First responsibility to maintain quality of ETL / BI code by focusing on the build and quality assurance stages. · Experience in supporting test driven development efforts and working within a QA organization to provide continuous integration, building and module deployment. · Be the “hands-on, end-to-end” expert in all layers of the OBIEE stack with a proven track record of successful delivery in complex environments. · Identify, recommend and best practices on ETL / OBIEE architecture and repository development. · Support and guide the cast of teammates performing ancillary roles within the BI teams. · Lead source system analysis, ETL design and development and system testing to create an integrated data warehouse based on custom and Oracle BI Applications mappings and reports. *Technical Skills and Qualifications* · Experienced in technical design with a strong background / track record of working in a high performance environment · Heavy hands on Informatica / ODI ETL development in a data warehousing environment. · Heavy hands on OBIEE architecture and repository and report developments using best practices. · Experience maintaining / modifying existing ETL code (not just new development). · Ability to understand business requirements and develop software solutions. · Strong experience with data warehousing and ETL tools. · Must have experience with the SDLC and BI tools mainly with OBIEE. · Must have experience with STAR and SNOWFLAKE schema techniques. · Must have experience performing user acceptance testing for applications. · Strong data analysis skills and ability to present the findings to business users. · Strong documentation skills and experience using OBIEE as a report writing tool. · Proficiency in verbal and written communications (including presentation skills) and interpersonal skills. · Ability to write proper documentation and building of a knowledge base. · Confident and comfortable interacting with people in various disciplines and at various levels of an organization. · Able to think outside the box and come up with better ways of doing things when the opportunity presents itself. *Personal Attributes required* · Minimum 12 - 15 years of experience of working within a technology development environment, preferably with an emphasis on utilities and Oracle BI applications. · Candidate must be a strong team player/lead with excellent communication skills. · Strong analytical skills and enjoys solving complex technical problems. · Comfortable working in complex environments and working to deadlines. · Ability to work closely with business groups including Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Corporate Planning and Operations. · Experience and ability to work on agile-scrum environment. · Self-motivated & proactive. · Strong presentation skills. · Excellent documentation skills. · Role requires on-site presence five days a week. *With Warm Regards* PAWAN, [image: logo_final] Genuineit LLC *Certified Women Owned Business* Making IT Happen… [image: cid:[email protected]] Ph: 713 230 8558 ext 101 [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] http://in.linkedin.com/pub/pawan-kumar/a6/818/4b3/ URL: www.genuineitllc.com [image: cid:[email protected]] According to Bill S.1618 Title III passed by the 105th US Congress, this message is not considered as "Spam" as we have included the contact information.
