Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:
-This role will assist in coordinating many of the in-bound tasks assigned to Application Support from several Infrastructure driven projects such as, Server end-of-life replacement, O/S uplifts.
-There is much coordination of the scheduling, creation of change requests, and assigning change tasks to application teams for validation on over 800 servers.
-The role will schedule project meetings across multiple IT US teams, take minutes, distribute communications, track issues and escalate road-blocks to the Project Manager.
-Work with configuration team to update Service Now database.
Skills Overview:
-3-5 years server, application, infrastructure IT operations background
-Ability to handle working with multiple internal teams
-Create change management communications
-Status reports that will be distributed to IT leadership
-Service Now background and ITIL background -preferred
-Strong verbal and written communication
-Advanced Excel knowledge: ability to manipulate data
-Self-starter and assertive personality
Technologies:
- Microsoft Office, specifically, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Meeting management will be key
Skills:
1. Self-starter : Once given work direction, must be able to work independently
2. Follow through is very important
3. Self-confidence to ask questions and escalate issues when others fall behind
