-Recommend HANA best practices, tools and technical solutions to support complex business requirements.
-Develop analytic data models and applications using native HANA (not BW on HANA)
-Provide guidance in the design and development of HANA-based solutions to developers new to the HANA platform.
-Participate in projects requiring extensive requirements gathering, data analysis, data modeling, ETL, dashboard design/development and testing.
-Apply deep understanding of HANA platform to design solutions and troubleshoot issues.
-Provide mentoring and consulting to other BI team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-SAP HANA Architect
1) 5+ years of data warehousing experience with good understanding of data warehouse and BI concepts is required.
2) At least 2 years of solid, hands-on experience with native HANA data modeling is required, e.g. building attribute views, analytical views and calculation views. Must possess very strong ANSI SQL skills.
3) Must have strong understanding of data replication from SAP ECC to SAP HANA via SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT).
4) Must have strong understanding of data provisioning from source systems to SAP HANA via Business Objects Data Services.
5) Experience with SAP Business Objects Data Services is preferred.
6) Must have gone through at last one complete HANA project life cycle (requirement gathering, Design, Dev, QA and Deployment).
7) Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams, managing multiple tasks/assignments with staggered due dates and deadlines through effective time management skills.
8) Ability to identify and communicate issues/risks applying technical and root cause analysis skills is a must.
9) Must be a self-motivated and pro-active BI technical leader and possess strong decision making, problem solving and analytical skills.
10) Ability to work within an Agile Development environment.
