*Solution Architect*
Location : Detroit, MI
Duration : 12+ months
The ideal candidate must be technically savvy; possess
outstanding communication qualities, and have the drive and initiative to
provide technical leadership on customer driven solutions. You will lead
and take ownership jointly with a Solution architect and deliver solutions
from existing product stacks. You must enjoy working in a fast pace and
energetic office environment. You must have the drive to impart positive
business change to a growing organization.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
· Provide leadership and mentorship to a Business Analyst/Business
Systems Analyst team of highly-skilled IT professionals.
· Provide technical leadership, including hands-on working sessions
with project teams.
· Define and roll-out industry best practices related to
Requirements Management competency area.
· Evaluate and Review technical architecture documents for the
building of enterprise solutions.
· Help develop and facilitate team compliance to Software processes
and procedures.
· Work with delivery managers to ensure the Business
Analyst/Business Systems Analyst team is meeting project expectations.
· Participate in the project team staffing process, handle project
escalations.
· Ensure the quality of deliverables/artifacts produced by the
Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst team.
*Desired Skills and Experience*
· 10+ years experience in enterprise software development focusing
on requirements gathering, business process reengineering, defining and
evaluating functional and technical specifications.
· Ability to provide technology leadership, solution strategy and
business interaction guidance to projects handled by the BA/BSA team
members
· Proven track record of technical leadership while working on
external customer projects Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to
manage customer expectations.
· Exceptional knowledge of industry-best practices in Requirements
Engineering domain, understanding of business and technology architecture,
UML.
· Excellent understanding of contemporary requirements elicitation,
analysis, specification, verification, and management practices and the
ability to apply them in practice; familiarity with requirements
engineering books and resources
· An understanding of how to practice requirements engineering
according to several software development life cycles in a team environment
· Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast
paced, entrepreneurial environment.
· Proven ability to evaluate customer needs, competitive
opportunities, emerging technology and market opportunities, industry-best
tools and processes.
· Strong background with J2EE technologies
· Excellent oral and written presentation skills and the ability to
translate technical aspects into business concepts.
· Excellent track record of managing BA/BSA teams.
· Excellent organization/time management, planning and
prioritization skills.
· Excellent decision-making skills and initiative in solving
problems.
