The Firewall Support Engineer is responsible for day-day support and 
troubleshooting 
of customer Firewalls in a high volume, highly dynamic environment. The 
candidate 
must be capable of working either individually or as part of a team. 
Responsible 
for supporting network-based activities, including planning and installation 
of new hardware and resolving complex client related problems remotely and 
onsite. 
Skills Required / Qualifications: 
• Experience with Checkpoint, Fortinet, TippingPoint firewalls and/or other 
Firewalls. 
• Hands-on experience with Firewall, NAT, Policy, ACL software. 
• Broad knowledge on networking layer protocols like TCP/IP and multicasting. 
• Hands-on experience setting up and configuring Firewalls. 
• Knowledge in building and supporting IPSec VPN tunnels. 
• Customer facing with excellent social, written and communication skills. 
• Work within a service queue to track tasks and projects. 
• 2or more years of experience as a Firewall Support engineer. 
• Security focused certification or similar.
