Scope of Service:
Provide organizational change management (OCM) expertise for Human Capital Management (HCM)-related SAP initiatives.

• Be an active and visible coach to executive leaders who are change sponsors
• Focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, and job roles
• Create and implement change management plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement
• Work to drive faster adoption, greater ultimate utilization and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees in the organization such that business results are achieved
• Interact with company leaders in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor
• Support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans
• Provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions

Deliverables:
The OCM resource will work in collaboration with project managers and others to conduct change management activities designed to ensure the BNSF organization is successfully prepared for the system and process changes resulting from HCM-related implementations. These deliverables include, but are not limited to:
• Carrying forward the OCM strategy established for the project(s)
• Development and maintenance of project communication plan
• Business readiness assessments including stakeholder surveys
• Development and maintenance of Power Point decks and other presentation materials
• Providing OCM and training updates for the project Operating Committee(s)
• Organizing OCM materials on the department and/or project SharePoint site
• Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes
• Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions
• Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success
