*Business AnalystHartford CT6+ months* *Candidates local to Hartford ONLY as face to face interview after a telephonic interview is a must.* Please read job description, *must have life claims or life insurance experience*. *Position Description* *The Senior Business System Analyst provides senior business analysis services to the business and IT partners assisting with the successful design, development and implementation of automated solutions for moderate to complex business needs. The Senior Business System Analyst provides advanced level knowledge in all areas of requirement gathering, business specifications, system design, project coordination, test planning, test condition/test case development as well as all aspects of test execution. * *Responsibilities* - Works directly with business and IT partners in the gathering of business requirements on moderate to complex business needs. - Independently creates detailed business specifications for moderate to complex level business requests. - Develops and executes test plans to ensure the accurate development of moderate to complex system changes from a business and functional perspective. - Provides senior level support for day to day production support issues focusing on timely problem resolution, effective customer communication and root cause analysis and correction. - Facilitates work in-take process for assigned area and/or system. - Adheres to and enhances PMO/SDLC/SOX management policies and procedures for implementing solutions into production, creating artifacts such as project plans, test logs, issue logs, user signoffs, etc. - Partners in the development of business case and cost benefit analysis for moderate to complex level business requests. - Independently creates and maintains system and user documentation for enhancements and system modifications, including end-user training materials. - Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of assigned business area''s products, services and processes. - Possesses strong business, workflow and relevant interface system and/or administrative system knowledge. - Independently maintains interest rate, state approval and internal application security tables. - Supports continuous improvement philosophy by identifying process inefficiencies and making recommendations to streamline workflow, reduce unit costs and enhance service. - Committed to enhancing knowledge of IT applications, customer service processes, LFG products and procedures and insurance industry trends and best practices. *Requirements*: - Knowledge of advanced Life Insurance principles including Life claims processing. - Strong background in Life Insurance Policy Administration functionality and processing. - Strong academic background (college degree preferred - Bachelor''s degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field - 4 to 8 years related experience in a systems environment and/or related industry experience - Ability to communicate effectively with business users and application programmers and demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team environment - Strong analytical/problem solving skills and excellent organization skills. *Regards*, *Vijay* 972-756-1212 * 132 *|| GTalk*: vijay.smist* ||** YIM*: vijayinventit || -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
