Position: C++ Developer (Trading Systems) Location: New York City, NY Interview: Telephonic and IN person Description Client Connectivity Services is looking for a highly motivated developer to design, develop, deploy, and manage bleeding edge ultra low latency and high capacity equity and fixed income client facing trading systems. Work with clients, exchanges, internal trading desks, risk, compliance, and other technology teams to drive and deliver software, hardware, and functional innovations in order to maintain industry leadership and competitive advantage in the electronic trading space. Candidate should be able to work with people from various backgrounds and be well rounded. Ideal candidate will have a bachelors and a master degree in computer science or related fields, have at least 5 years of working experience in designing, developing, and managing large scale, enterprise level, low latency C++ applications. Prior experience must include interfacing with business units to gather and translate business requirements into technical specification and solutions, code/design review, QA, deployment, production management. Expertise and hands on experience with trading technologies such as financial protocols (ie FIX, OUCH, Itch, BOE), Unix/Linux operating systems, low level hardware and kernel tuning, C++, boost, STL, low level networking protocols (ie TCP & UDP), profiling tools (ie VTune, Valgrind), multithreading, kernel bypass, cpu pinning, and cache optimizations are also required. Daily activities will include design and development in C++ linux environment, interaction with internal and external clients, troubleshooting complex issues, and managing a trading environment that is critical to Client's electronic trading business. Qualifications Must have 10+years of professional Experience - Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field - Hands on experience in all aspects of enterprise level C++ application development and management - Expertise in low level development and technologies (kernel tuning/bypass, cpu pinning, hardware optimizations, network transport protocols including TCP and UDP) - Experience with application performance profiling and tuning tool kits (VTune, Valgrind, PGO, etc) - Experience working on configuring, testing & integrating C++ applications into a linux environment - Experience working with support aspects of running trading applications - Ability to manage work and plan deliverables in a structured manner (project planning) - Clear understanding of best business practices with respect to development processes and methodologies - Ability to multi-task - Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently - Strong verbal and written skills required to interact with global teams and customers - Self-motivated Thanks and Regards, Chandan IRIS Software, Inc.
