I appreciate & will be thankful for your support with few references from your network who are looking for a job. *SAS analyst with Mathematical Background* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Location: NYC, NY* H1B Copy must *SAS analyst with Mathematical background (capital markets/financial domain exp) with experience in one of the assets of Capital* *EXCEL & MATHEMATICAL MODELLING BA ROLE (headcount of 2 required):* · Strong Excel and mathematical & statistical analysis background required. Significant experience in performing statistical analysis and writing complex Excel Macros for analysis and data discovery. (R/Scala or other similar languages are a plus but not mandatory). · Enhance surveillance using statistical techniques with ability to design prototypes to enable testing of approaches and understanding/analyzing potential results. · Leverage prototyping to test out new surveillance concepts. · Build and implement statistically driven prototypes for short term automation to meet immediate needs. · SQL knowledge and ability to query/verify data across operational data stores to ensure match or gap to compliance requirement is important. *Domain* · Capital markets and trading knowledge required through business analysis and solution delivery; experienced in at least one of the following asset classes: equities, fixed income, options (futures, commodities and OTC derivatives preferable) & FX. · Must have significant project delivery experience in gap assessment, requirements gathering and solution design to remediate gaps identified in data, technology, processes in context of trading.
