The Windows Senior Engineer also participates in the implementation of policies and procedures and to ensure consistency with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. The candidate may be a key team member on strategic or enterprise-wide technology projects or issues. *Job Duties & Responsibilities:* *Responsibilities* · Administer Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008. · Administer the Active Directory and its related components. · Provide for system installation, maintenance, and support for all Windows base systems. · Provide daily support and implementation services for Intel/Windows production systems. · Assist in the physical planning, scheduling and installation of new computer hardware & software. · Follow standard procedures and configuration management policies to get servers installed and connected to the TD Ameritrade network. · Work with Information Security to address vulnerabilities and find the appropriate fixes. · Manage the ongoing patch management schedule inclusive of coordination with application development and quality assurance teams and communicate and schedule patch management events. · Monitor support queue in Remedy. · Ensure requirements are met before implementing the system changes. · Troubleshooting includes, but is not limited to; isolating problems, recommending proper solutions and implementing solutions. · Document all operational processes and procedures to manage all aspects of the deployed systems · Document and get all work approved via Remedy. Update problem tickets in a timely manner (creating, researching, referring, and closing). · Ensure that any previous documentation is updated with new changes and provide documentation for all new processes and procedures that can assist other team members in maintaining servers. · Produce documentation such as Trouble shooting Documents etc.. *Required Skills:* · Extensive Systems Engineering experience within e-commerce or financial services industry · 7 years of work experience. · Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure and client side architectures, software lifecycle, and system design. · Familiarity with SAN concepts and design. · Knowledge of IIS, SharePoint, and Microsoft .Net platform concepts and administration. · Windows services, including file and print services;
