Role Automation Lead Mandatory Technical Skills o Ability to develop , maintain and execute existing automation suites for emergency, minor and major release written for QTP o Should be experienced in automation development in QTP tool for Web apps and front end applications. o Should be able to develop/enhance automation frameworks and familier with different automation techniques. o Monitor / manually run daily prod scripts for high stake clients and share execution report. o Able to manually validate failed automated TC before opening QC defect. o Expertise in querying DB tables, writing DB queries. o Experience in HP Quality Center for TC design, manual/automation execution and defect tracking. o Should be experienced in end to end testing activities, e.g. effort estimation, requirement gathering, test case design, defect logging/tracking. o Should be able to perform XML field/tag validation against the Database. Desirable Technical Skills Web application/Portal with Back end testing experience Mandatory Functional Skills o 4 - 5 years experience in Automation script creation and execution using HP QTP tool (Now UFT) o Very good knowledge in VB scripting o 2 to 3 years experience as a Test Lead o Excellent verbal and written skills o Should be well versed with STLC / SDLC, testing methodologies / process. o 3 to 4 years experience writing SQL commands to query backend databases o Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments to meet deadlines Desirable Functional Skills Knowledge / Experience in pharmacy domain is preferred.
