Direct Client Sr. Storage Engineer 3 months Dallas, TX We are looking for a Storage Consultant in the Dallas TX area (near DFW airport) for a 3 month project (likely to extend for another 9 month). Work to be split 50/50 between remote and onsite in Dallas TX. Preference given to local candidates, but travel will be paid for non-local. Project is for a Data Center Migration. Phase 1 Planning - “initiation, discovery, design, architecture and migration planning, finalize the migration plan and complete the pilots and DC build out (estimated duration 3-4 months). We expect an extension of 9 months to cover Phase 2 - “DC build-out, and migration pilots and execution”) Tasks: Assessment/recommendations of infrastructure and applications to be moved. Review the existing Client's Architecture and Design. Create a high level Migration plan, which will include • Move Groups defined based on gathered data • Early Move Waves assigned based on known technical, business and application constraints Skills needed: Subject matter expert for storage and storage hardware, support core technical implementation team during discovery, planning, design and implementation.
