*Location: Langhorne, PA* *Duration: 6+ Month * *Interview: Phone & F2F* *Start Date: ASAP * - The Technical Lead will collaborate with the Technology Managers, Project Managers, Sales Managers and Business Analysts to understand the functional business requirements dictated by the client and offer an appropriate solution that satisfies the client's needs. - The Technical Lead may collaborate with Technology Managers and Technology Architects on a technical approach to a solution that satisfies the client's needs. - The Technical Lead will report directly to the Technology Manager and will liaise regularly with their counterparts on other teams and in other CoEs. *Responsibilites:* - The Technology Development Center of Excellence (CoE) provides technical solutions to all customers clients and internal customers. Activities performed by this group include: - Delivery of all Technology & Development project work - Product evaluation and testing - Provision of technical expertise to customers in an effort to ensure success of digital deliverables - Technical architecture of all internal and external systems associated with solutions provided to all customers - Design, development and maintenance of all technical solutions provided to our customers, including database,web and mobile - The Technical Lead is intimately involved in day-to-day operations of their team and responsible for successful delivery of all tasks delegated to them. - The Technical Lead is responsible for leading a technology solution team and assisting the team members with questions/concerns related to the implementation and execution of the technical requirements. - The Technical Leads will also be hands-on programmers and will have domain knowledge relevant to an implementation. - The Technical Lead will be a channel for team members to escalate issues to either the technical architects or to the project manager. Essential Responsibilities and Deliverables - Function Specific: ◦ Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. ◦ Supports and/or installs software applications. ◦ Provide level of effort estimates on proposed projects ◦ Facilitate with technical (hands-on) development ◦ Provide knowledge and direction in technical approach to team members ◦ Involved in architecture and design of technical solutions ◦ Ensure timely delivery of technical solutions by leveraging appropriate team resources - Leadership and Management: ◦ Delegate tasks to team members ◦ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to all team members - Supervision: ◦ Typically works with minimal supervision from the Technology Manager Requirements: - Strong understanding of relational database design, N-tier architecture and web technologies - Very strong technical skills across platforms, including Unix, Windows and Oracle or SQL Server - Knowledge of methods for quality assurance and usability testing for information systems - Strong understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and process methodologies - Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation experience, with proven leadership and mentoring abilities - Strong object-oriented programming skills with experience in several languages such as C#, Objective C, VB.NET, Java, ASP.NET, JSP, VB, C++, Java and .NET Framework - Strong client-side programming skills with experience in modern CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and client-side data binding frameworks (e.g. Knockout, AngularJS, Ember) - Strong skills with experience in modern presentational design patterns and frameworks (e.g. MVC, MVVM) - Strong SQL skills Experience with performance optimization - Solid understanding of client/server technologies and concepts, and their application to and effect on application development -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
