Role:-SQL DBA Admin(Multiple locations)
Location:-Cinncinnati,OH,Dallas, TX,Scottsdale,AZ
Duration:-12+Months
8 + years IT operation with strong understanding of database
structures, theories, principles, and practices
5+ years Microsoft SQL Server experience.
· SQL Server 2005, 2008 and SQL 2012 knowledge is must.
· Database Administration
· Database Tuning
· Database Management
· Database Security
· RDBMS
· Apply hotfix patches
· Migration of old SQL DB to New version of SQL
· Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
· Good Technical documentation skills
· Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing
and relational database environments
· Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting
techniques
· Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices
· Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives
· Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
· Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
· Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
environment
· Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
· Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native
monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
· Experience with HA and DR methodologies (clustering and Mirroring,
Replication and Log shipping)
· Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
· Experience with Database upgrades and migrations.
