*Position : Business Analyst* *Location : Basking Ridge, NJ Duration : 3+ Months Phone / Skype or F2F* *GC or USC Only* *Job Description * · Our Client’s Solutions Team provides technology solutions development and integration across the SDLC including requirements, functional specs, design, custom development, integration, testing, and deployment. · Their team maintains a strong focus on structuring, managing, and implementing complex technical solutions requiring deep business expertise, process optimization, and business operations knowledge to achieve significant and measurable business value. · As part our client’s team, you will be working on projects that include enhancements, revisions and configuration for Healthcare Exchange projects. *Note ::* · *This Senior Business Analyst Position requires travel and working on site at client locations. Travel can be up to 100% as part of a team, you will be working with Exchange Work streams driving operational objectives on Exchange projects evaluating business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats and identifying risks and gaps.* · *Travel will be more aggressive during the kick off stage of Health Exchange projects. You will need to be at the customer site Monday- Friday for the first 2 -3 months of the project kicking off estimated at 75% to 100% of time. After the initial 2-3 months of ramp-up, the travel will move down but can average, 25-100% with occasional visits to the customer sites.* *Job Responsibilities :* • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders (e.g., business owners, process owners, domain experts) to identify specific business requirements • Conduct current state analysis to gather current business, functional and non-functional requirements and constraints (i.e., "as-is" state) • Document future state using appropriate tools/processes (e.g., "to-be" process maps) • Gather information needed for the definition of requirements (e.g., business use cases, user stories) • Facilitate all needed requirements-gathering activities (e.g., meetings, workshops, JAD sessions) • Develop business context diagrams (e.g., business data flows, process flows) to analyze/confirm the definition of project requirements • Define desired future state requirements based on input from all applicable stakeholders • Identify the business impact of system/application changes, using appropriate tools as needed (e.g., impact analysis, risk analysis) • Identify capability gaps between current state and desired state (e.g., system capacity, emerging technologies) • Ensure adherence to enterprise standards for gathering and documenting project requirements • Identify and/or establish appropriate testing metrics/targets to validate that business requirements are being met (e.g., performance metrics, process deliverables, traceability, business value) *Job Requirements* • Bachelor’s degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience • 5 or more years of experience in business analysis • Ability to travel up to 100%, especially in early stages of the project • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external customers and staff *Additional Assets:* • Healthcare industry experience • Consulting or commercialization experience • Healthcare Insurance Exchange experience • Demonstrated capability in requirements gathering/analysis *Regards , * *Kailash Negi* *VSG Business Solutions* *221, Cormvell Dr,Bear,DE 19701* *Phone: 302-261-3207 x 102* *Email : [email protected] <[email protected]> * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
