- Designing and developing user interfaces / applications by setting
expectations and feature priorities throughout development life cycle;
determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming
using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
- Participate in customer team meetings and conversations with client
personnel to understand business and technical requirements.
- Recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages
of custom development.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical documentation support.
- Plan for and conduct implementation activities.
- Compile periodic reports and interface on a daily/weekly basis with
customer and Northrop Grumman management.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the
ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical
audiences, as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities
- Bachelor's degree and 14 years of experience or Masters and 12 years
of experience
- 5 years of experience with Java and JEE technologies.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with the following:
o Object Oriented Analysis skills with experience in design documentation.
o Object Relational Mapping technologies like JPA/Hibernate.
o SOA and web service technologies.
o Working on Struts 2.0 framework and writing complex SQL queries.
o Working experience of JavaScript, jQuery, CSS.
o Database experience with relational database systems like DB2, Oracle.
o Using the IDEs like RAD, RSA.
o Different application servers, preferably IBM Websphere application
server.
o Extensive knowledge of Design patterns and UML experience.
o Must have the ability to contribute to design and architecture
discussions.
- Must have strong analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Project, MS Power Point, and MS

3. Web App Developer - $60/ C2C
Location: Woodlawn, MD
Duration: Long Term
Description of Work:
- Maintain existing web applications using SQL, SQL Server and Cold
Fusion, including bug fixes and enhancements.
- Understand database structures and develop databases for web
applications.
- Provide oversight and drive process integration, application
development, and ongoing enhancement of the new and existing systems.
- Work with customer to implement web applications within customer
environment and comply with policy requirements (e.g. section 508 web
accessibility compliance).
- Create required documentation such as design documents and unit test
plans, and participate in code reviews and presentations.
- Ability to communicate with customer and management to explain project
requirements; seek solutions (phased-in solutions); implement or otherwise
support iterative development; establish and execute maintenance plan.
- Establish meetings to determine tasks to accomplish goals/objectives
and follow-up on tasks through subsequent meetings.
