The solution architect is responsible for providing a solution design to a project team that is in alignment w/ EHP's technical roadmap. The need to be able to take feedback from both technical resources and business folks and integrate that feedback into their solutions. A typical day would include working to design solutions and presenting solutions and ideas to both large groups and individuals. Generating consensus on a solution is key to success. The levels of classifications are differentiated by demonstrated knowledge, skills, and the ability to manage increasingly independent and/or complex assignments, broader responsibility, additional decision making and in some cases, becoming a resource to others. New hires will be placed in the level for which they are most qualified based on their experience, credentials and skills. Summary Solution Architects partner with EHP business professionals, Developers, Engineers, FBPMs and Analysts to design and lead the integration of IT enterprise solutions that are aligned with business objectives and core technology assets utilized by project and program teams. The overall goal of the position is to define, design and oversee the implementation of solutions compliant with the architecture of EHP in order to advance Health Plan business objectives. Solutions Architects design integrated IT solutions built on standard IT platforms, leading and governing the design process over the project lifecycle.
