*Position Summary *
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of multiple software products.
*Responsibilities:*
• Analyzing software projects and creating technical solutions from
business requirements.
• Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field’s concepts,
practices and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish
goals.
• Provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be a
top level contributor/specialist.
• Serve as a collaborator for other development staff as well as
give feedback to the developers’ supervisor.
• Modifying or creating software using appropriate technology and
best practices.
• Creating code that is efficient, easy to maintain.
• Working with other development staff to complete projects and
determining appropriate solutions to problems.
• Analyzing and testing code to ensure an error free product.
• Provide expert level software development.
• Work with product owners and other management to execute projects
and ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications.
• Deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates
for timelines, while ensuring projects remain on target to meet deadlines
and company goals.
• Assist with coordinating sprint and release planning.
• Adhere to coding standards and architectural designs.
*Requirements:
*
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience programming in .Net.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Knowledgeable in software development best practices.
• A record of successful delivery of software applications as a lead
contributor.
• Must be able to create and update process documentation as it
pertains to software development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical
users.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability
to handle diverse situations and multiple projects in a fast paced
environment.
• Must be detail oriented, self-directed and open-minded to
contribute and exchange ideas in a team environment.
• Experience developing Windows Forms, WPF and ASP.Net applications.
• Experience in Microsoft .NET, IIS and SQL Server software
development.
• Proficient at writing SQL queries and a good understanding of
database technologies and concepts.
• Relevant experience with web services and REST.
• Experience with code repositories such as Git or Team Foundation
Server.
