*Please find the requirement below , If you find yourself comfortable with the requirement please reply back with your updated resume and I will get back to you or I would really appreciate if you can give me a call back at my contact number 609-897-9670 *4012.* *Position : Linux/Unix Admin * *Location: Bartlesville, OK * *Duration: 12+ Months* *Required:- * *• Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers using UNIX/Linux operating system.* *• Evaluate existing application and database requirements for projects, design solutions that address business needs, and implements efficient and cost saving server solutions * *• Provide key technical data including, but not limited to, capacity planning, implementation, configuration, and usage reporting * *• Monitoring log files, performance issues, and the production environment for mission critical systems * *• Participate in an on call rotation for UNIX support issues.* *• Configure both physical and virtual servers to meet project and customer requirements based on internally developed processes using global standards * *• Develop and promote standard operating procedures * *• Engaging in continuous learning to stay abreast on new and emerging technologies that relate to the UNIX environment * *• Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines * *• Legally authorized to work in the United States * *• 3 years operating experience with UNIX or Linux operating systems, including architecture, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem solving* *• Basic knowledge of shell scripting* *• Basic knowledge of network theory, design and architecture * *• Basic knowledge of storage technologies, design and architecture* *• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or other IT/IS related major * *• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with scripting * *• Ability to work effectively across time zones and geography* *• Knowledge and experience with UNIX systems including Solaris, AIX and Linux solutions from Redhat and SUSE. * *• Knowledge and experience with storage technologies and features including SAN, NAS, NFS, de-duplication, and block level replication * *• Ability to apply solutions, technology and products to a project or business opportunity * *• Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member* Thanks & Regards Seshan Y.
