I appreciate & will be thankful for your support with few references from your network who are looking for a job. *Job Title : Data Architect * *Location :* *Eden Prairie, MN* *Duration :* *6+ Months* *We are looking for US CITIZENS/GC/GC-EAD* *Primary Responsibilities:* · Lead the effort to design and develop a new Portal Application data architecture for scalable technical solutions in the areas of data optimization, data management, performance and efficiency while handling data volume and velocity · Coordinate and manage the design and maintain the data architecture which includes policies, requirements and specifications · Design and develop data schema, data models, data representation, and application objects using micro-services concepts in cloud based service architectures · Participate and assist in maintaining and enhancing data models and DB processes an algorithms for current and future products · Promote rapid data modeling best practices and processes · Conduct data model reviews with developers, architects, business analysts and subject matter experts to collaborate and gain consensus · Effectively communicate (verbal & written) and collaborate with global teams *Required Skills * · BSCS degree or equivalent experience · 8+ years of database design, development and software development experience. · 5+ years of enterprise database design or architecture experience is required. · Expertise in architecting, designing and developing databases; Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL backend databases in end-to-end enterprise applications. · Strong experience implementing data warehousing and business analytics · Experience in large-scale (multi-terabyte), scalable, highly available and reliable distributed cloud based database architectures that share data over multiple cloud provider global availability zones · Strong knowledge with performance optimization, tuning and diagnosing database and data management applications and services · Experience leading a team of enterprise-wide data architects. · 10+ years hands-on experience with Linux/Unix · Proven track record being proactive and taking the initiative to drive forward technical solutions.
