I appreciate & will *Job Title : Lead QA Tester * *Locations : Washington, DC* *Duration : 6+ Months* *VISA COPY IS MANDATORY FOR SUBMISSION* *Rate : $45/hr. on C2C All Inclusive.* *Job Description:* The Lead Quality Assurance Analyst, IT Quality Control & Testing for the Payment Platform will be responsible for planning and leading a multi-year project engagement separating payment processing from the mainframe reservations system. The resource will be the primary interface between the project team and Quality Control. He/she will lead a small team of Quality Assurance Analysts on payment processing systems and interfaces supporting the separation of payment processing from the mainframe reservation system within the Marketing and Sales business portfolio. The lead position requires a professional with strong technical skills to plan, estimate, coordinate and manage the test engagements on a very complex projects as a technical leader . The candidate must function as a subject matter expert for multiple projects and systems, and work effectively on high complexity projects within multiple development environments or enterprise-wide systems. The Lead will work closely with project and vendor teams to support the business functions. *Skill Set:* • Strong knowledge of multiple environments, platforms, tools, and technologies, test cases development, independent troubleshooting skills, integration with test case management and bug reporting systems, in addition to evaluating and debugging test results and metrics. • Experience developing and conducting test processes for multiple types of systems, client users and/or units across an organization. • Experience working with the Business and Systems Analysts to interpret QC needs as requirements are being developed. • Experience successfully interacting with users, technical and business representatives, and vendors. • Experience analyzing and reviewing test results with key team members and stakeholders and makes recommendations regarding software defects. • Experience in the design and creation of test scripts. • Experience assessing and recommending manual and automated testing methods and procedures. • Experience manual testing and understanding of best test practices including automated testing with tools such as HP QTP, LoadRunner, Test Director/Quality Center, or equivalent. • Experience testing software in enterprise web application and client server environments. • Technical experience with full life cycle software development, and a thorough knowledge of stages from requirements to release and maintenance stages. • Experience with transportation systems, travel industry business processes or operations processes in a passenger or freight railroad company. • Subject matter expert and thought leader of manual testing or software/hardware quality control and testing. • Be able to contribute and direct at all levels of testing including unit, functional, automation, performance and scalability testing. • Technically hands-on, have good project management skills. • Experience implementing enterprise software testing solutions in large, complex, diversified, global organizations. • Experience troubleshooting user issues and good Customer service techniques. • Experience with mobile device, tablet and mainframe testing. *Pavan Kaparthi* | Technical Recruiter Avani Tech Solutions Inc., Email : [email protected]| website: www.avanitechsolutions.com Office: 888 874 8112 Ext : 306 | Mobile +1 585 351 2945 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
