Utilizing his/her experience within the healthcare domain, this full stack development position provides leadership by promoting Agile best practices within the development teams and supporting the Product Owners in the execution of respective product roadmaps with hands on development. The Senior Technical lead will be a servant leader to approximately 10-12 technical leads and developers. *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* *Application Development* - Ensures that all developers are guided and empowered to follow best practices of Agile software development - Ensures architectural integrity of core PaaS architecture - Advises on technical debt - Contributes to open source healthcare project which we sponsor - Has advanced understanding of software development, architecture, and tools available in the market - Demonstrates ability to assimilate new technologies - Writes code for complex systems (e.g. a large number of interaction points, large number of tables, complex business rules) - Reviews other developers’ code developers; Identifies alternative development approaches for team. - Analyzes existing programs and modifies application code to create enhancement or develop new programs - Performs unit testing and complex debugging; Works with other team members to resolve problems - Serves as project lead on one or more large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and processes knowledge of a specific business area. - Accountable for process and coding standards for the team and ensures compliance - Accountable for technical feasibility and feedback on new initiatives - Recommends resource modeling changes based on team backlog and product chartering *EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE* - Bachelors in computer science, engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience; May have technology certifications - Prior Experience as a team lead in an Agile development environment required - 10+ years of progressive work experience designing and developing full stack applications in a Java/JEE environment. - Experience with data modeling, relational databases, data structures and design - Experience working with Product and Business Management teams - Experience working in an entrepreneurial company -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
