*Position: DB2 DBA*
*Location: Scottsdale, AZ*
*Duration: 6 months+*
*Skills:*
- Significant experience in the following:
- IBM DB2 pureScale technology
- DB2 databases within AIX environment on large high availability
databases within an OLTP environment;
- High level knowledge of DB2 LUW utilities
- Experience on DB2 LUW databases including VERSION 10.5 fixpack 5 with
pureScale;
- Experience in leading, mentoring and coaching DBA's
- (DB2 10.5 on AIX) planning and design
- Review DB2 pureScale infrastructure (server, storage and network)
requirement on Intel
- Document DB2 pureScale configuration topology
- Review DB2 pureScale Customer Worksheet and assist client team with
completion of worksheet.
- Review hardware, firmware and OS requirement for the DB2 pureScale
deployment
- DB2 pureScale Architect to assist with DB2 pureScale installation,
configuration and testing (DB2 10.5 on AIX) in non-production environment.
- DB2 pureScale Installation and configuration
- Planning and execution of DB2 pureScale failover testing
- Information transfer and mentoring on pureScale deployment standard
practices
