The Business Intelligence Specialist is responsible for working to analyze, design, build, test, deliver and maintain reports, dashboards and other data extracts as requested. The position requires an understanding of data warehousing and dimensionally modeled databases. Knowledge of Business Objects Webi/Rich Client and BOE administration is required. In order to be successful, the ideal candidate will be an expert in developing reports using Business Objects Webi as well as constructing custom SQL statements as needed. The analyst will also be responsible for working on reported production issues in addition to contributing reporting expertise while assigned to project teams. The analyst will work closely with members of the data warehouse team, development staff and as well power-users across the organization. The specialist should thrive in a client-focused environment and demonstrate his/her dedication to implementing ‘best practices’ and systems improvements. Ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as a willingness to learn new things.
