Please share me your resumes at *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Position: SAP Tester* *Location: Detroit, MI metro area* *Duration: 5+months* *Role Description:* The Quality Assurance Analyst, QA Analyst, is responsible for developing and executing plans to ensure the delivery of quality IT solutions. The role develops quality strategies, deliverables, methodologies, and processes to assess all stages of the solution development lifecycle. The QA Analyst defines and executes testing of software, data, hardware, and process prior to release into a live environment. She/he manages relationships with key stakeholders and collaborates with other groups to ensure the total solution delivered to the business partner meets/exceeds expectations. The QA Analyst participates in improving the overall Quality Assurance Process of the integration and system testing cycle. The Quality Assurance Tester, QA Tester, supports the Senior QA Analyst in test plan development. The role is responsible for interrupting project specifications, writing test cases/scripts, and performing test execution. The role works with system analysts and end users to define data requirements and develops test data. She/he defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. When the strategy for the application/project requires test case automation, the QA Tester will design, build, test and deploy an automation solution. Required to support the testing process throughout the FSS project; to develop test scripts / scenarios / execute testing within an SAP integration project. Integration between ABB and SAP. This role is responsible for delivery of SAP ABAP development technology initiatives. The role will design, develop and test SAP ABAP development components needed to support clients' reporting requirements and will work as a member of a team to integrate these designs into the overall client strategy. The role will provide guidance on how SAP utilities industry can be leveraged. *Required Skill Sets:* 1) Good communication skills (oral and written) 2) In-depth knowledge of PC usage and related software packages 3) In-depth knowledge of one or more programming languages 4) In-depth knowledge of the specific application(s) and technologies supported 5) Install, configure, test and implement software applications, releases, patches and fixes. 6) Maintain application configuration parameters and system related documentation 7) Perform, enhance and tune SQL queries, if applicable, and system related documentation. 8) Build, maintain and configure virtual server(s). 9) Support Risk, Issue, Change request and Defect tracking processes. 10) Analyze and create security requirements for application, report, web and database servers and integrations and interface with other tools. 11) Analyze and create application backup/recovery tools, procedures and documentation. 12) Test, implement and track custom developed enhancements, interfaces, portals, functions, queries and stored procedures. 13) Analyze and create application fail over and system availability procedures, best practices and documentation. 14) Test and document server, database and PC operating system security patch testing. 15) Knowledge of Clarity and Open Workbench SharePoint *Technical Knowledge and Experience* - Experience with Detailed knowledge of IT principles, methods, and practices in the assigned specialty area - Experience in IT systems development process and procedures - Experience with interpretation of business/functional requirements and the development of technical specifications - Strong knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Hands on experience in the implementation of performance monitoring principles and methods - Experience delivering technical documentation and procedures - Experience designing systems security methods and procedures - Performed analysis using a variety of analytical methods - Proficiency in information and data management - Extensive experience in system design and application development - Hands-on experience in JSP, Java/JavaScript, C, C++ ….. - Knowledge of quality assurance principles, processes and testing requirements - Mobile Work Management solutions experience, Mobile solutions on Windows 7 devices.
