A.  Position Description

v  Primary Purpose

Under general direction, plans and performs analysis of major company
activities and guides the subsequent design and implementation of systems
for the application of electronic data processing or for the improvement of
existing data processing applications. Is concerned primarily with the
broad aspects of data processing systems, with the objective of utilizing
available personnel resources, computer hardware and software to provide
that information most useful to the company inthe most efficient manner. Is
concerned with the interaction between systems not only to avoid
redundancies in storage and processing, but also to take advantage of new
and more effective ways of providing needed information. May occasionally
train and guide the work of less experienced analysts,but this function is
incidental to specific projects.

Ø  Knowledge of securing critical Windows infrastructure.

Ø  Managing service delivery in a rapidly changing technical environment.

Ø  Coordinate service delivery between local, business unit, and
centralized technical resources.

Ø  Prioritize and deliver competing projects with scarce resources,
particularly where BU and GBS initiatives are competing for resources with
locally-initiated projects.

Ø  Establish defined value for all new proposed projects or major changes
to existing applications.

Ø  Trade compliance requires United States Citizenship or Green Card



v  Major Activities

Ø  Day to day operations of assigned systems and or other shared systems.

·         Install, configure, maintain and administer SQL Servers,
databases and SQL clusters.

·         Monitors database activity and file usage, and ensures necessary
resources are present so that databases function properly.

·         Monitor database usage, error logs and nightly job stats such as
Backup.

·         Perform restore/recovery of database and transaction logs.

·         Monitors and coordinates installation and upgrades of hardware
and software as necessary to enhance database performance

·         Knowledge of MySQL administration

·         Make recommendations on design improvement and stability.

·         Utilizes standard corporate tools to record change and problem
activities for tracking purposes.

·         Knowledge of support and management of global Windows 2012
forests and domains, including DNS, AD, OU, GPO and Account management.

·         Understand existing 2008/2012 domain and application environments
to enable system and device migrations from existing domains to new domains.

·         Skills in patch management, Antivirus and system monitoring such
as WSUS, SEP and Solar Winds

·         Participate in deploying, maintaining and management of backup
and recovery procedures and processes for Windows SQL devices and VMware.

·         Ensure uptime of the highest levels possible and in line with
negotiated internal operations agreements.



Ø  Implement new systems and/or system upgrades as assigned.

·         Participate in drafting of implementation plans.

·         Execute implementation plans.

·         Generate records to satisfy project management and change control
requirement.

Ø  Compliance and Audit Activities

·         Participate intheir Self Assessment Template (ASAT) IT compliance
testing

·         Draft procedures and work instructions in support of compliance
goals.

Ø  Work with LMS colleagues to rationalize and reduce compliance activities
performed locally in favor of centralized compliance activities.

Ø  Travel requirements: as required to support global domain deployments,
migrations and support (limited).
