advisory, financing and risk management needs, is looking to hire a strong Sr.
Java Server Side Developer for a Long Term Contract opportunity in New York
City, NY
Our client has offices all over the world and has the global reach, advisory
services and distribution power to meet the needs of issuers and investors
worldwide.
Job Description
Required Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent
experience
- 8+ years of experience as Java Server-Side Developer with O/R
Mapping(Hibernate), Framework(Spring, Struts, Stripes), Camel
Webservices like Restful API, SOAP, etc
- Must have strong experience in Core Java and Core Java Concepts
(Multithreading, data structure, Concurrence etc)
- DevOps Tools like GIT, TeamCity, Junit, Sonar, etc.
- 3+ years as hands-on db developer (ANSI SQL) with proven experience
writing with XML Complex queries, procedures, packages, and views.
Excellent verbal and written communication
- Must have extensive experience working with Investment Bank /
Financial Services Industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with design and implementation of JMS messaging/middleware
technologies (Solace or EMS) to support data capture, validation, and
persistence.
- Proven experience in SQL query and database performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop (HDFS, HIVE, HBase, etc)
- Actively participate and contribute to on-going team discussions
around architecture, re-use, and technical specification
