Direct Client Sr. Storage (3PAR) Specialist Houston, TX 6 months Experience Requirements: •Extensive experience working with enterprise storage systems in large production environments •15+ Years of total IT experience •Technical Skills – (IBM SVC, V7000 and V7000U, V5000, V3700) , IaaS, SoA, IBM DS8800 series Arrays •Brocade SAN Switches and Directors, must be well versed in V-Fabric, FICON and in the administration through the use of BNA. •HP 3PAR 7400 series. Including all aspects of replication, administration and interoperability with VMware, AIX, Linux and Windows. •Experience with Disaster Requirements planning, including multi-site replication, Split (SVC) and metro clusters (AIX, Linux, MS), Data Guard, •Knowledge of ProtecTIER and TSM, VMware SRM, backup and replication principles. •Software Experience with TPC Suite (For Data, Replication, etc.), •Experience architecting, defining and documenting architectures/designs for all listed arrays and SAN fabric & FICON •Knowledge of defining implementation testing strategies and plans for storage solutions •Knowledge of industry standard high availability strategies for applications, data and infrastructure •Experience with multiple data center environment implementations and migrations •Experience with integration of critical infrastructure and application monitoring into migration/cut over testing preferred •Experience in defining reference architectures and applying to specific application architecture needs •Possess strong consulting level communications skills (verbal and written) •Possess strong leadership skills with an open and collaborative communication style •Possess strong problem solving skills •Possess high accountability and self-drive to take on and see through big challenges •Possess confidence, takes ownership, willingness to “do what it takes” to get the job done •Possess project management experience and demonstrated mentoring background The Senior Level IT Storage Specialist will assist the current project team in a multi Data Center implementation. The focus of the effort will be working with the Storage designs and translating those into a series of actions to migrate, monitor and promote to production.
