*Job Description:*

This contract is for one Senior Developer with architectural skills to be
assigned to the OIT Pensions Health Benefits project team to support the
Pensions work necessary for the Affordable Care Act Reporting and Filing.



This position is a J2EE developer that can function as an architect and
senior consultant to support a project where there are no other J2EE
Developers or expertise.



The selected candidate must demonstrate strong architectural skills and web
technical skills, both on the submitted resume and during the interview
conducted at OIT.



Skills must include:  ability to design, develop, and implement application
infrastructure to provide reliable and scalable applications and systems to
meet the organization's objectives and requirements.



The selected candidate must be familiar with a variety of the application
technologies, environments, concepts, methodologies, practices, and
procedures.  The selected Architect must also be able to perform a variety
of complicated tasks with minimal or no direct supervision.  An ideal
candidate should be experienced in defining  systems and application
architecture.  The candidate must possess prior experience leading a
project.  The candidate will be expected to use MSWORD and MSEXCEL to
produce project documentation and must have previous experience performing
documentation tasks.



Candidate will be expected to communicate verbally and in writing with the
client, and must have previous experience performing client contact.



The candidate will work a 40-hour week between the core hours of 7:30 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m., flexible work schedules are not permitted; all work must be
performed on-site at River View Plaza, on-site overtime may be required.

- Years of Relevant Work Experience:  5 plus years

- Preferred Education:  4 year college degree or equivalent technical study



Please note that during the OIT on-site interview process, the following
2-part interview will take place at River View:

- Part 1:  approx. 20 - 30 minutes of general questioning to confirm
experience as indicated on the resume, and oral technical questions
confirming skills as indicated on the resume specific to this project.

- Part 2:  approx. 60 minutes, written technical questions specific to
skills necessary to complete tasks for this project.
