The person will not be a developer but should have some knowledge/understanding of the Microsoft BI tools. *Key skills are listed in order below:* *SharePoint* *PowerPivot* *PowerView* *PerformancePoint* *SSRS * As a Business Intelligence Project Analyst you will be working directly with the business hands-on to analyze and derive insight from their data. The preferred candidate will partner with the business; independently gathering requirements, analyzing, designing, building and deploying BI solutions and visualizations. The incumbent will: · Be adept at representing quantitative data visually, and representing complex information graphically · Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business client requests and translate them into technical designs and specifications. · Possess the ability to identify where focus is needed and bring clarity to business objectives, requirements and priorities. · Have strong analytical skills to identify, problem solve, and resolve data inaccuracies at their root cause. · Be experienced directing an offshore development team. · Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of collaborating effectively across a variety of IT and Business functions, across regions, roles and able to interact effectively with all levels. · Be a Self-starter: Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision and a strong desire to learn new tools and technologies. · Possess a strong technical understanding of data warehousing, business intelligence, data modeling, data visualization and dashboard design a must. · Hands-on development of front end reports and visualizations is required. Working knowledge of back-end development processes (SSIS and multidimensional cubes).
