*Can be US citizen or Greencard or H1 * *Have to interview next week in person * *QA Tester * *Summary* In collaboration with the Software Test Engineering Lead, Test Engineering team and Biomedical project team members, the resource will develop test plans, test cases and procedures as well as test and validate changes to the Biomendical IT software. Resouce will assess requirements for testability and participate in risk assessment meetings in order to assist in the development of risk mitigations. Resource will utilize the risk mitigations to determine the appropriate test strategy to validate software and configuration changes. *Responsibilities* Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, and test execution. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Responsible for developing risk based test strategies for a variety of types of tests (functional, interface/integration, regression, compatibility, etc...). Must have experience developing regression test suites and automated test scripts using Quick Test Pro (QTP). *Qualifications* Individuals will have 5+ years of testing experience with a 4 year college degree. Experience with testing web-based applications, client-server applications, and highly configurable COTs products. Working knowledge of SDLC process, Quality Center, and QTP tool knowledge. Must be a team player capable of working with the other teams but also has the ability to work independently.
