*Title – Sr. SQL Server DBA* *Long Term Contract* *Location – Oaks, PA* *SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS* 1. *Minimum 10+ years* of SQL server *DBA* experience (Microsoft SQL Server 2008, 2012 & 2014) *with Production Support background* 2. Strong experience in following fields –SQL 2008 & 2012 *(Mandatory skills) * 3. SQL server transactional replication process 4. SQL server snapshot, Backup and Restore & COW processes 5. SQL Clustered environment 6. Database administration experience 7. Must be able to support *SQL server replication* processes independently *(Mandatory skills) * 8. Should be *team player* as he/she need to work with 20+ team size with few SQL Server DBAs *(Mandatory skills). *Also need to work with Development team very closely. 9. Knowledge of service management processes Like ITIL (Incident, Problem, Change and Release) 10. Experience working in a 24x7 environment with Dual shore model 11. Ability to work on application support which includes other components of production support (Like application LP server, product implementations…etc) 12. Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously 13. *DBA* responsibilities include production support of the database environments, software product installation, and maintenance 14. SQL *DBA* will be responsible for proactive monitoring and maintenance, resolving technical issues, backup and recovery, and performance tuning. 15. Must possess excellent communication skills for team projects and client communication. 16. Strong analytical skills for problem resolution, database and SQL performance tuning and backups 17. SQL Development back ground a plus 18. Knowledge of Windows 2008 & 2012 19.
