A minimum of 5 years’ experience with virtualization (VMWare/ESX 5.5), Windows Server Administration (2008 R2/2012), and Microsoft Clustering desgin, configuration and support. • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of multiple systems (operating/integration/architecture) and programming languages/methodologies. Thorough understanding of server and desktop based technologies, utilizing network systems related to enterprise view. Responsible for the design, testing, evaluation, implementation, and support of various platforms (hardware, operating systems, software, and systems tools). Provide consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and systems programming. Implement releases, upgrades, and/or changes into the environment. Ensure platform performance and availability meet enterprise objectives through monitoring, timely service restoration, and tuning. Duties may include capacity planning, workload modeling, system maintenance/administration, and diagnostics. *2. Job Title: Sr. Websphere admin Location: Atlanta GA Duration: 12+ Months* *Responsibilities:* 5+ Years of hands on Unix system administration experience with a combination of Solaris, RedHat Linux and AIX OS. 5+ Years of shell scripting. 5+ Years of hands on methodical problem solving web applications in a live production environment. 5+ Years JEE application container administration experience (Specifically WAS, SJSWS and JBoss). Experience managing code components in IBM Rational Clearcase. Must be performing satisfactorily in current position. * Candidate MUST have Websphere experience** The Web Infrastructure team provides 3rd level Design and engineering support engineering support for Delta's enterprise portal infrastructure, Enterprise JEE hosting infrastructure, and Enterprise Shared .net hosting infrastructure. Responsibilities include application integration into JEE instances, JVM tuning to optimizes application resource usage, JEE component packaging, and infrastructure design using industry best practices.
