*SBS Software Engineer I, II or III *
Software Engineer / Java developers with 2-8 years of experience
in developing, testing and implementing applications using JEE6, PL/SQL,
Oracle, JSF 2.1, JPA 2.0, EJB 3.0 and CDI along with excellent
communication skills. *Experience with JUnit, Cucumber and Arquillian
testing frameworks is Highly preferred*.
*Responsibilities include:*
• Implements application design by utilizing development languages
and tools.
• Develops all layers of the application including UI to back-end
services
• Develops and executes test plans (unit testing) for assigned
projects.
• Develops applications based on their evaluation of business and
technical requirements for complexity and provides design recommendations.
• Delivers quality code that meets requirements and specifications on
time, based on work estimates they establish.
• Writes and maintains documentation, on any technical development
completed.
• Provides twenty-four by seven support for user groups in problem
resolution and works to resolve software/hardware problems.
• Customer focused and meets customers’ business requirements.
• Participates in agile scrum teams to design, write, test, and
implement new functionality.
• Assists organization managers with administrative tasks and
planning on selected projects.
• Provides excellent customer service to customers, both internally
and externally.
• Serves as a resource for less experienced staff. Provides both
technical and business guidance.
• Understands and fosters enterprise-wide technical initiatives by
pioneering new initiatives, technologies, and tools.
• Presents findings and recommendations clearly to different levels
of management and developers.
*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:*
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Computer Science or Associates Degree in
Applied Science specific to Computer Science, and at least two years of
related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work
experience. Must have experience with the entire development life cycle;
starting with the analysis, design, construction, implementation, and
following it through to the evolution phases.

• Must be able to code, understand basic programming logic and
development issues specializing in one language.
• Must possess strong communication skills.
• Must possess the ability to comprehend team, development and
enterprise-wide goals and the ability to apply those goals to projects.
• Demonstrates ability for technical and creative problem solving.
• Demonstrates leadership during projects and high stress situations.
• Demonstrates ability to identify the impact of changes across
systems.
• Demonstrates ability to effectively learn and apply new
technologies.
• Superb planning, organizational and communication skills.
• Required experience in Java and JDBC or ODBC.
• Required experience in Oracle, SQL.
• Required experience in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word,
Excel).
• Required experience in iPlanet, or SunOne.
• Strongly prefer experience in JavaScript, HTML, Java Servlets, JSP.
• Strongly prefer experience in Unix.
• Strongly prefer experience in stored procedures, triggers and
functions.
