*Position : Jr. SQL DBA * *Location : St. Louis, MO Duration : 6+ Months* *Interview : Phone/ Skype * * Looking for a 3-5 year person* * Job Requirement* · Responsible for the administration, optimization, monitoring, tuning and backup/retrieval of SQL Server enterprise databases. · Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining user access, space management, database refreshes, and database security. · Monitors database for potential problems and creates end-user reports. · *May write and tune SQL or PL/SQL code. * · May participate in data migration activities or work with application development teams to provide database access and knowledge. · Provides appropriate consulting, interfacing, and training for users. · Establishes and maintains policies, standard operating procedures, and associated documentation for user interaction with the database environment. · A minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Database Administrator is required.
