Hi, We are looking for Embedded C Engieeer for a 6 Months project.
*Rate-Open* *Location-MI* *Duration-6 Months.* *Description of job duties and skills* 1. Define and maintain new baselines of functional (software) requirements to provide correct functionality for an EPS product development. 3. Conduct testing, debugging and validation of software. This includes preparation of software test requirements specifications and reviewing of test results. It will involve co-ordinating test and validation activities with other systems engineers working on the project 4. Investigation and resolution of system performance issues, and document results in appropriate fault reports. Such activities are likely to involve detailed analysis of the operation of the electronic system, including the *embedded C code and use of tools related to CAN communications (e.g. CANalyzer, CANape, CANister etc)* 5. Support testing in laboratory and in vehicles using CAN based tools. Trouble-shooting and problem solving at the bench-top level and occasionally at the vehicle level. *Individual Qualities and Skill Set* Intelligent & energetic. Good communication skills; ability to engage in a team setting; flexible. Technical background working with electromechanical systems. Degree or similar qualification in electrical and/or electronic engineering or a related subject. O*ne to two years’ experience working with real-time embedded software (using C) and electronic* system engineering, preferably for automotive electronic systems. Practical electronic hardware experience of such systems would be advantageous. Familiar with software test methods and natural language specifications. Experience with model-based software specifications for *automotive electronic systems* would be an advantage.
