This is a fast paced, dynamic environment driven by a combination of new business, regulatory projects and optimization of the environment. Providing effective solutions to our clients often involves harnessing the latest technologies. Emerging Markets business deals across multiple asset classes namely, bonds, FX, interest rate, credit and derivatives. In effect we are a compendium of the Fixed Income business as a whole that deals in markets across tens of emerging market countries and 8 locations. Working for EMG IT offers a unique exposure to multiple asset classes within fixed income. The candidate will work within risk development team developing risk and PnL aggregation solutions to change the way business can understand their exposures. This is a senior development role and is expected to work with little or no supervision to agreed project specifications and timelines. The team is globally spread out, with global customers so flexibility is a must. The team works closely with the quantitative analysts, various trading desks, product control and other IT areas. Qualifications : • Have strong server side design and development skills, primarily Java/Linux. • Minimum 8-10 years development experience. • Experience with HTML 5 / JS GUI frameworks is desirable. • Learn in-house Algebraic language for aggregation technology • Experience in risk and pricing of Fixed Income Derivatives, especially Rates and FX products • There will also be additional responsibilities such as functional verification of delivered features, ad-hoc system bug analysis, and handling of "business as usual” requests • Experience with working with IB IT risk management systems and analytic libraries is highly desirable (eg.
