*Title – BI Project Lead * *Duration – 6 to 12 Months* *Location - Richmond, VA* *Experience* • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience • 5+ years’ experience with querying and analyzing data • Informatica experience (2+ years) • Data Quality or Data Quality Profiling Application experience • Experience with Microsoft Office & Visio *Job description: * • Collaborate with business units to collect, document and review data quality requirements. • Collaborate with the business to auditing of data governance compliance by business units. • Document the technical specifications for building out data quality assessments. • Document the data quality overlay to business terms through approved enterprise tools. • Support the implementation of data quality rules through approved enterprise tools. • Support the implementation of data quality scorecards. • Support the analysis of business unit data governance self-assessments. • Provide operational support for the monitor data quality and track the resolution of data quality issues. • Provide operational support for all programmed items (DQ rules, SQL, and BI Reports). • Monitor execution plans to ensure completion and adherence to service level agreements. • Perform ongoing reviews of published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, and content related to Data Governance. • Assist in determining root cause of quality issues and recommending short and long term solutions • Investigate, trouble-shoot, and document source-to-target and other data issues from internal and external customers • Clean and scrub data, and implement data quality best practices • Develop automation of data verifications, incorporating checks for exceptions, inconsistencies, tolerance levels, business rules, and valid output • Provide weekly status reports on current activities. *Skills required:* • Excellent communication and cross-team coordination skills.
