*Duration: 6 Months –* *Phone Hire* We uses many vendor/*COTS applications* internally that have built-in Business Process Management (BPM, aka “workflow”) functionality. We have also recently adopted IBM’s Business Process Manager (“*IBM BPM*”) product as the enterprise workflow tool. Our architecture office is defining policy and standards for when business process automation should be provided via the vendor/*COTS applications*, when it should be provided by the enterprise workflow tool, and when a combination is the best approach. When a combination is the best approach, the enterprise workflow tool (IBM BPM) and the vendor/COTS application must be integrated so that the overall business process executes correctly and it is always clear what the current status of the process is. This position is to work with IT groups responsible for the vendor/*COTS applications* and the enterprise workflow tool to define the technical standard for integrating the enterprise workflow tool with the vendor applications to meet these requirements.
